We were once again blessed with good weather and strong attendance for the annual St Andrew's Church Country Fayre on Saturday, 19th September. This year's charities were:
- Mercy Ships, a charity based in Stevenage that provides "hope and healing to thousands of people who could never have believed it possible". Mercy Ships provides medical care and support with essentials like water to a world where many have lost hope. For more details, go to www.mercyships.org.uk.
- The East Anglian Air Ambulance provides emergency air ambulance support for the whole of East Anglia, with one main air ambulance covering Norfolk and Suffolk, and another covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. For more information, go to www.eastanglianairambulance.org.uk.
The total raised this year is just over £8,000 which is a tremendous amount, so an enormous thanks to everyone that was involved in the event whether they were manning a stall or spending their money!
